For those of us who remember eating "Bonamo's Turkish Taffy" and miss freezing it and cracking it on the table top, it is for sale once again! Unfortunately, it is no longer selling for five cents a bar...

However, we can still eat the stuff while watching Buffalo Bob, Howdy and Mr. Bluster, etc., and drool over Princes Sumerfallwinterspring.

It's available at 'The Vermont Country Store' and ships all over the country. I don't know if they will ship food products outside CONUS.

Basic was simple and fun. I've heard that much of NASA's moon landing data was in Basic, and lingers in vaults because so one wants to bother with Basic these days.

It was a pain to do animations in (or graphics, for that matter). I did some very simple ones on my Coco 3 to spice up a home movie on VHS. Had to tell the computer where on the screen to put each pixel.

I once programmed the school's computer to solve quadratic equations. I turned in my homework on the printout (perforated sheets, naturally). The teacher allowed it, because he felt if I understood them well enough to write a computer program to solve them, I deserved the credit.

I know zilch about modern computer languages.
