Hmmm... I liked the books and the 1957-1966 TV series with Raymond Burr. The 1973 or so TV series was dreck. Some of the ghod alone how many made for TV movies weren't bad. The 2020 HBO series of which I have only seen a couple of episodes had little to do with the books or the original TV series.

The PBM knows at least 3 songs by the Crüxshadows.

I don't drink alcohol and never have, except for a few sips a couple of times in my entire life. Can't stand the taste and frankly I don't understand the whole alcohol thing at all. Then again, I don't understand most generally popular things people do (traveling, sex, romantic love, having kids, social media and so on.)

PBM can recite Jabberwocky by heart (the original or a translation).
