Since last nightly it runs fine on my h2o. Before the h2o would become unresponsive after standby. But i only use it to read pdf's, so can't comment on epub stability.

Known issues would be on Github. There is currently one issue affecting the H2O.

I've read post #1838 and the paragraph in jgoguen's page https://github.com/jgoguen/calibre-k...er#hyphenation but I'm hesitating. Is there a fool-proof stable method yet that doesn't have to be reinstalled after each upgrade?

I fixed (or rather worked around) the issue three days ago, so any build more recent than that will suspend properly.

Thanks Frenzie. I suppose KSM works as well on H2O. If this is the case I'll give it a try.

Edit: no it isn't. I have just read the KSM thread. I will wait till a KSM stable version is available.

My H2O runs KSM on FW 3.7. Be sure to use the proper version of KSM (for FW 3.2 and higher) available here. (Note to possible future readers: check the KSM topic for updates.) To fix the screen rotation see here. To fix touch input see here (also works for vlasovsoftlauncher/Cool Reader). To enable KOReader auto-update see here.

Combined with tomorrow's KOReader nightly, or by manually changing this line to fix landscape mode, the H2O is now fully functional for daily use. (Well, actually I've been using it daily for a couple of weeks now; exit instead of suspend was no disaster.)

I downloaded the Nightly build 20141110 of koreader and install it based on "Files Monitor" on my h2o (FW 3.11.0), I just find that the E-ink full refresh rate setting did not work(i.e. I already checked the E-ink optimization setting), page keep preform full screen refresh on every page even I change the setting. Is this a bug of KOReader of I need to change other setting or modify properties file for it to enable this feature?

By the way, the full page refresh setting works in CoolReader and so I think this may not be the FW problem of kobo itself.

Yes, it's a brand new issue related to this REAGL mode thing. It's supposed to be better in some way, when it works.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of it yet yesterday because it was introduced only two days ago; my custom combination of code didn't show it. There are also still some lingering issues with landscape mode as a result of this particular change. Such are the joys of nightlies. :P

Hi everyone,
is there a reason why I don't see any pdf nor djvu listed in koreader?
I made a directory called PDFs and loaded it with some pdfs and djvus, but entering this directory from the KOreader (nightly build 20141111) I don't see any file listed.

Other docs, like epub etc I can open and read.

Any suggestions?

No, you should definitely see them (as long as the file names end in .pdf or .djvu). Reboot or even re-install (just copy over) and see if that changes something.

I tried nightly built 1094, but got freezing with pdf's in landscape mode, also the progress bar at the bottom didn't work. Back to 923. (and I used to be able, for pdf's in landscape mode, to extend the margins with manual page crop outside the page frame, that doesn't work anymore

using FMON, FW 3.11

I am experimenting KOreader on my mini. The biggest problem I have at the moment is in reading mode. At the bottom of the screen, there seems to be a menu panel. But I can't see the buttons and they are hard to press.
When in landscape mode I an't activate the menu by pressing the top of the screen. Should there be a menu at the top of the screen, too?
Can the resolution of KOreader be adopted/optimized for mini?

A question to Aura HD users: in koreader the top right corner of the screen doesn't recognise any touch (in nickel it works as it should) for me, do you experience the same? (Last 1-2 words of the first two rows with small margins I can't highlight with long press.)
