Text files fail to update (all besides 300). Not sure what is causing it. ("malformed patch" error).

Did you create it using git or mercurial (hg)?

Was done with mercurial/TortoiseHg-GUI. (not sure which option taken, definitely not GIT)
I've removed the patch from the initial post, and attach here a simple rar-file with the modified *.js files.
For 950 kBootIconNetwork.png is fixed

Edit: we will have to integrate BenChen's Chess and Card-Icon and also check and update the kBookHome.png and kBookAssets.xml for x50

More questions.
In the house screen, is it possible to change the name of the icon of the games? In spanish is too large and rare. Perhaps is better: "Juegos" (Games), or "Otros"(Others) or "Más" (More).
And "Historial del libro" perhaps is better only "Historial".´The Same "Libros por carpetas" Only "Carpetas".
It´s a suggestion.

I have successfully flashed my PRS-650 and put some fonts and css files into the intended directories. I can switch the css files in the configuration menu but the reader's font is only changed when I

- connect the reader to my PC and disconnect again or
- reboot the reader

Is this correct?

Yes, this is normal behaviour,
but you havn't to restart/connect your reader.
Just open another epub-file and switch back to the original one.
As the *.css file is only read once during opening of a book this will do the trick.

I was under the impression that it states in the detailed instruction thread, that changes don't take place until books closed so it may be restart rather than just close books but it is expected as the reader has to follow the changed paths to get to the results of the new settings, it can't change files actively being used...

Edit... Mark, we'll have to stop the simultaneous write as well...

Another question: when I make a screenshot, I can´t see it until I restart the sony.
Is it normal? Could be possible see it without restart?

It's normal. Seeing it without restart (or reconnect to PC) is not possible in current version.

I have version 1.0.00.14080 firmware now, and I'm unable to get prs+ working.

Installed it on my 350 today, everything went smoothly. One request, though-- it would be nice if you could "bulk delete" (choose "delete books" from the options menu, check boxes on the files you want to delete) from the "browse folders" view instead of having to switch back to a "normal" listing. That, and a full-screen "basic" calculator with bigger buttons and without all the advanced functions would be nice, too.

People with 14080 will have to wait for the new version of the setup.

Regarding bulk deleting, deleting folders with all the content is planned as "Browse Folders" feature.

I also want to thank you kartu for this usefull tool.
I specially like the folder browsing!

I have a small suggestion for further versions:
I have dokuments with long names - too long for the display...
I need the long names, among other things, because I integrate a date and a topic into the filename/title. (I am a teacher and organize my lectures with this system...)

Is it possible to let the user choose the characte-size in the file-browsing-menu? This way I could see the whole title without opening the file...

there is a special sorting mode, "by filename with filename shown as comment". Maybe it could solve your problem.
