Over the weekend we caught up with a couple of series, not sure what to watch tonight. Maybe start with Down Cemetery Road, maybe the new (last year) Rebus series or something else entirely. This weeks I want to watch at least three movies: The House on Haunted Hill (1999), Constantine and Doomsday. Not sure when I can watch them. I finished the cross stitching part of my current project and I'm not working on the back stitching (line work), which needs more concentration and I won't be able to watch TV when doing that. |

Watched S1 of Slow Horses on Prime, OK but probably not worth a month of Apple TV to see the rest even with Murderbot thrown in. If Prime discounts it for BF I might reconsider.
Also kind of liked Braquo on Prime, an intense Spanish language show about a rogue Paris police unit fighting the villains while constantly hounded by internal affairs. |

I'm watching the first episode of All Her Fault. All episodes have dropped on Peacock today.

I had planned on watching several movies this week and I haven't, yet. The weather was too nice, so besides trying to finish my current cross stitch project (and being at a stage where I can't concentrate of watching something) most days I went on a walk.
I did watch the finale of Celebrity Traitors, which I enjoyed. Though it would be nice to see a Faithful win for once. I've also been watching the second season of Educating Yorkshire. I watched the first season when it was aired ten years ago. It's a good view of what happens in high/secondary school. I like how there are (at least in that school) now ways in school to help kids better than in both my time at that ago (90s, so I was basically told to suck it up) and when I did my teacher placements (15-20 years ago, when more accommodations were starting being made for kids with problems). I want to watch a movie tonight, but I'm not sure what, yet. It's a toss up between Constantine and V for Vendetta. |

Tonight I watched Jurassic World Rebirth. It wasn't great, but not too bad. Now I'm watching JADE at the Proms: A Homecoming. It's the the last of the BBC Proms for 2025. |

I watched V for Vendetta, but tomorrow afternoon my sister's going out with a friend so I'm planning on watching Constantine then.

After Educating Yorkshire I really want to start with Cracker. I'll probably start on Tuesday (on Monday we're going to see stand-up comedy by Double Dutch). Movies for next week will be The House on Haunted Hill and maybe continue with (re)watching the Alien series with Aliens. |

Yesterday I finished watching Serial Experiments Lain. Today I started watching Martian Successor Nadesico.
Overview: It begins in the year 2195 and Earth is under attack by the Jovian Lizards, whose technology gives them a significant upper hand. Because Earth losing would negatively impact business, a corporation named Nergal decides to build their own space battleship, an extremely powerful ship named The Nadesico. They recruit a crew that are considered the tops in their fields but have issues. Among the crew: The Captain is a tactical genius in combat but is a bit of an oblivious scatterbrain at all other times. The Chief Engineer only joined the crew to get away from his wife and son. One of the ship's cooks is also a backup robot pilot to suffers from severe PTSD. The ship's computer operator is a genius who is what Mr. Spock would be if he was a pre-teen girl. |

Was gifted the box set of The 100 tv show, so decided to read the books first then watch the show, which I started a few days ago.
Books were enjoyable. The tv show is only very loosely based on the books and introduces characters, storylines and events that are not in the book or are very different. But the tv show is also enjoyable so far. |

Last night I watched the first episode of PLUR1BUS on Apple TV. I rather enjoyed it. It's quite different.
