heheheh That might not be a bad image. It is going to be beer or tea in the hospital depending on what they will let me have.
My problem with beers is that the beers that I like are all high alcohol content, 9% is the lowest. I may be being overly anal but I am not willing to risk alcohol with the baby. Caffeine in small doses I can see. An occassional beer or glass of wine, perhaps. Maybe once a week but not once a day. |

Many Dog Fish Head brews, Bell's, Omegang, lots of micro brews. I like beers with a lot of hops and those tend to be high alcohol.
Heck, my Hubby gave me one beer from Dog Fish Head, I think it was the 120 minute IPA. I drank half of it and was clearly drunk. We were a bit baffeled until he looked at the label and realized that it was 20% alcohol by volume. We stick to the 60 minute IPA for the most part these days. We might have a few 7% alcohol by volume beers. We don't drink normal beer. |

20%? Yowser!
I'm not a huge beer drinker, though I've become more of one. And when I do drink beer, it's almost always something like an O'Keith's IPA -- a definitely "hoppy" ale. But not anywhere near that alcohol percentage. Back to my Keemun. Trying to decide if I should go for a third steeping, or switch to one of the others I got... |

People smile and tell me I'm the lucky one,And we've only just begun. Think I'm gonna have a son. He will be like she and me, as free as a dove, Conceived in love. Sun is gonna shine above. And even though we ain't got money, I'm so in love with you, honey, And everything will bring a chain of love. And in the morning, when I rise, You bring a tear of joy to my eyes And tell me everything is gonna be alright. ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uEBlVxf_IY ) Good morning, everyone. Happy February! The shops here are all stocking up on chocolates, and I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day. In Japan, it's the women who give chocolates to the men on this day, rather than the other way around. I like that! I wouldn't mind some chocolate for breakfast right about now, but I'm satisfied with a cup of Ahmad "English Breakfast" tea and a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. I wonder which would be healthier..... ![]() ProfCrash... keep in mind that most of our mothers, out of ignorance, drank tea and coffee, alcohol, smoking, etc., while we were cooking. We turned out OK. It's the 'abusers' of these things that taxed the growth of their babies. Check with your Doctor, but I'd imagine that having a single cup of tea once in a while, or a few sips of beer now and then is NOT going to cause any problems to the healthy development of the baby. In fact, as it makes Mom more 'comfortable,' it may actually contribute to better health. One more cup of tea, then, Off to see the Wizard.... Stitchawl |

Rooibos Winter Magic. Yummy
And the Doctor says that we are having a boy. So now we can start thinking of names. All is normal and the baby appears to be developing as he should. We are very happy parents. |

OJ but a distant memory, Peet's Major Dickason's down to the dregs. Time to try another one of my new teas. I think maybe the Jade Tie Guan Yin Oolong. |

From TeaSpring.com, their Jade Tie Guan Yin. It's OK, but nothing exciting. A decent Oolong, what I'd expect. But not worth the premium for it. I'll be passing on this and going back to my Peet's Ti Kwan Yin. It's at least as good, and a lot cheaper.
