I just noticed the other day that BN sells audiobooks. Or at least they offer them for sale. I don't know if anyone ever buys them.

Barnes & Noble audiobooks - all the DRM, half the selection of Audible. Still looking for the advantage here.

I'll occasionally do Kobo, eStories, Downpour, Audiobooks.com, or Libro.fm (man, more choices than I thought) but I pretend BN doesn't even exist.

I bought one audiobook from BN early days. But I have yet to listen to it and I won't buy another until I do and see how I like the app.

I've bought a lot from Downpour, though; I like their sales more than Audible's and the books are DRM-free, so they work on my waterproof MP3 player.
