I really think it is "fame" more than money that screws people up. Although some get screwed up because they can't handle the money. See NBA for example. You can pay a 19 yo $20mil a year and expect them to make good decisions with it.

I tend to think it's the fame that does it, too, especially if your head wasn't maybe screwed on too well to start off with.

And football in the UK - but then again, some of the players have both the fame and the money.
