Good morning, everyone! The first Thursday in 2012... I think that should be celebrated just as much as any other holiday! This about it... there will NEVER be another first Thursday in 2012. That's heavy.

Finishing up the loaf of Brioche bread along with a big mug of East India Company's "Royal Breakfast" tea. It really is a great combination! I think I'll have to make another loaf of this bread PDQ! When it's warm, it's like eating fresh croissants, and with a really good and hearty black tea along side, makes a damn fine way to start the day!

Black coffee in my cup. I've had a few family emergencies this week and haven't been staying at home, so it feels very good to be sitting here with my coffee, my computer, and my cats.

I might try to go for a walk this morning -- I think it's warmed up a bit today. It was 21F and windy yesterday morning, and I just couldn't take that kind of misery without some sunshine. I don't mind a little bit of cold, but when it gets bone-chilling like that it's just too hard to keep my face warm.
