Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews

There's not much romance in this first book, but I know there are a lot of UF fans reading this thread and Ilona Andrews is one of the best UF authors out there. This entire series is fantastic. The Andrews serialize each book on their blog, then package it and release it. They just finished the third book, which was the best one yet. It is still up on their website to be read for free, but it will be coming down pretty soon as they are planning to release it for sale before Christmas. If you do decide to read the third book while it's still free, I would highly recommend buying and reading the second book, Sweep In Peace, before you start on it as I think you'd miss a lot if you tried to read out of order.

Thank you for the hint about the third book. I was a bit behind because I'm not reading (I don't like serials) it but I'm downloading it for packaging it after the end by myself.

Someday I'll give her a try. I love Urban Fantasy as long as it's not too dark. I'm on book 10.5 of Chicago Vampires series by Chloe Neill. It has a bit too much romance for my taste but I love the characters.

Thought some of you might like to check out this new site called 'instaFreebie', you can select the free books you want and have them emailed to you. I grabbed a couple MM from there today but they have all categories.

I did it. 12 Books and two Novellas. I finished all Chicago Vampires books that are published to date. There is a novella and one more coming out before the series end.

Even though they label it Urban Fantasy this series is really paranormal romance. There is more romance than anything.

I haven't binge read like this since Stephanie Plum. Speaking of which the new one is out. I got the Audible and just waiting on the ebook to come available at the library to enjoy both. The new Cat DeLuca book is out too. If you have freading you can read it for free on there.

So now what? How do you follow up on a series. I should be starting my holiday reads but right now I've got serious series hangover and couldn't enjoy them.

I couldn't. The first narrator of the first five books was awesome. The new one after that I didn't care for. I switched to ebook using her voice in my head. It worked pretty well.

Hoopla gives 10 titles a month to borrow. They have Tantor Media. Overdrive has an assortment depending on which library you belong to. Limits vary per library.

All of Chicago Vampires series are on Hoopla in Audio.

I haven't sampled them yet....if I don't like the narrator, I may use TTS.

Brooklyn Public Library has all the audio books.
