When should we start seeing 350/650 in stores - Page 12

I just spoke with the Sony Store in Atlanta. For whatever its worth, they said they expect to have them in stock on Friday (the 17th). We shall see.

That would make sense, considering the pre-order had shipping date of the 16th, so theoretically, one day after ship date is when they should be in stock... Hopefully your people were right up in the A-T-L.

The three Sony stores in Mississauga definately don't have the units. I called them and they said not until mid-October at the earliest. So whoever said they're in Canada needs to be a lot more specific because if they are up here in stores, they're certainly not everywhere!

So, the 650 has gone from 'Pre-Order' to 'Back Order' on the US Sony Style site as of 10 PM MST. I have no idea what that signifies.

The 650 is now in stock on the Canadian website in red and silver. Black is on back ordered.

This equates to midnight Eastern. Which makes sense, since this would make it the 16th. My main concern is how long have they been sold out. The Silver PRS-350 shows to be in stock, but everything else it listed as back ordered. I want to know how long it will be before I receive my PRS-650. If it finally ships out today, I guess I won't see it until sometime next week.

bol.com claims to have the new models in stock. I've ordered a 650 and they promise I'll get it tomorrow! Previously they were not sending electronics to Belgium but that seems to have changed some time during the last year. It seems other countries are still off-limits though

I popped into the Sony Shop here in Solihull and they told me that they're coming into the shop tomorrow and will be on display and available to buy on Saturday.

They have a few in stock in the Sony Centre in Cardiff, I bought one this morning. Waiting for it to fully charge before I have a play.

Not have any sort of case in the box is very poor though, and no suitable cases in stock as yet. I've butchered my old PRS-505 case to fit for now.

I gave a call to my local W earlier this afternoon, and was just given a reply that it is not out till tomorrow (17/09). Pressed the person on the phone if they already have it in store and are just not able to sell it before the release date, she just ask me to come in tomorrow (with a *wink-wink* *hint-hint* tone in her voice). Think probably they already have it in store.
