I would expect the MOTH to be spending every possible moment with K_C being and looking very worried, but telling her all the positive signs he sees. When the medicals shoo him away, he frets, does errands and self-maintains half-heartedly, sleeps when he nods of from pure exhaustion.


At least, that's what I would do, and have done, albeit, in less dire straits. They come back when they're ready.
