they have nice cases - that's too bad.

(not that I need another one - but those New Yorker cases are sharp!)

I've been using it with one of Energizer brand book lights. It is a perfect set up.

The only thing that is slightly amiss is that the top right elastic corner strap touches the power button. It has never actually pressed the button down, or interfered with the operation of the unit in any way.

I highly recommend it.
I just ordered a couple of these from Amazon. Kinda bugs me, ordering a Kobo case from Amazon, but Borders.com and Kobobooks.com didn't have anything.

I picked up a Wenger Legacy eReader CS at Best Buy a couple of week ago. It's a plain slipcase, no pockets, but it looks good and is well padded. Not cheap (around $30 I think) but none of these accessories are, and you can definitely pay more for worse quality. The Kobo fits almost perfectly.

The Tuff-luv case for the COOL-ER eReader works well. Very tight fit but the Cool-er must have been identical to the Kobo - all the cut-outs are in the right place. Nice flip cover leather case.

I finally found the solution to store reader, when not reading.
Carton box from some other device, hard disk or whatever.
Just to put sticker on it.
Getting cover of the price almost the same as device itself
has no sense to me. Someone has Kobo sticker handy?

I've received my case and like it. I feel much better now about dropping my Kobo in my briefcase. I can flip the case open to read for a little while, and it's easy to slip the Kobo out for a longer reading session.

I've seen, here in Montreal, that a new case from Roots is out. Weird is I only saw it there, but haven't seen it online.

It's same build as the other one (soft leather), but it's much more like an envelope.
You put the Kobo in as you would put a folded letter in a regular envelope, close the envelope (with its triangle shaped closure) and lock it down with a soft leather "belt".

Update: I don't see it on the Roots website either. Guess I'll go back and see if I can take a picture of it

I found this one for the Kindle3G, which is just slightly larger, so work fine. for $6, you can't go wrong, plus it includes a screen protector to boot. the sleeves that Kobo offer are slightly pricy for two pieces of material stiched together *shrug*

The only problem I had was the thin plastic 'T' of the price tag inside the lining. Spent a few minutes trying to work it down to the bottom because when it was in the centre I thought it could scratch or damage the screen.

This looks like a case I bought on eBay by Casecrown. I bought the fake leather version which cost $15.11 CAD delivered from the US. The leather ones were more expensive, of course. The inside appears to be identical and it comes in a bunch of colours, too. I bought the purple one in page 2.

My preference is to use it only when I am out of the house. I like the very light weight of the Kobo nekkid.
