Hmm, I'd go for the reading Scots... You see, it rains a lot there, and laying in bed doing other fun things will get boring at some point... So, you might as well start reading in bed.

And, it looks like Australia/New Zealand have a combine approximate population (Wiki and Population Clock) of

25,574,957.
