It seems like the experience between all three is largely the same. The only significant differences are in library checkouts on Kobo and Kindle Unlimited on Kindle. I mean think about it: navigating your library, maintaining collections, accessing a book, customizing font, customizing the front light, turning pages, looking up words, navigating the store, buying books, syncing your reader etc. all pretty much the same. The amount of trad published books and their pricing the same.
Most tech journalists are not readers and it is apparent in their reviews (lacking in detail and nuance). No need to scream bias or bought out when ignorance will do. They most likely spend most of their time reviewing tablets and phones. |

What is best depends on what you are looking for. Some people are devoted to the B&N Nook. Some love the Kindle. Some love KOBO. They all have their own features.
KOBO and Nook I really like. You need to look at what your needs are in an e-reader and find the one that meets those needs. There is no ereader truly better than the other. its all about your preferences. They all do the same task. Read ebooks |

If you are a very small and tiny person - not that there's anything wrong with that! - (think 'The Incredible Shrinking Man') and you owned both devices, you could hide in your pocketbook while reading on a nook. DICTIONARY: nook /no͝ok/ noun noun: nook; plural noun: nooks 1) corner or recess, especially one offering seclusion or security. 2)An ebook reader, one often used while hiding in a pocketbook. Most readers usually gravitate to a Kindle after having tried the other two. Please see 'Kindle' for further information.
