Delivery date is Nov 14 (32 gig; 3G; no special offers) but the status is Preparing for Shipment, so I'm not sure what's going on. The case is due tomorrow, with the same status. Maybe it will come early? Maybe it will stay in that status for two weeks? Anyone's guess. I do have Prime and I went for one day delivery.

Delivery date is tomorrow (32G Wifi), ordered day of announcement, not yet shipped.

That said, I do live in a same-day delivery area, so I'm expecting they are going to be doing that to avoid street date being broken. Boo.

Mine has shipped, arriving 31 October as scheduled (in Japan).
Also, in Japan only 8GB without special offers is in stock tomorrow. All other options are in stock on 16 or 17 November.

Hmmm. I'm getting slightly concerned that mine hasn't shifted its status from "Will Dispatch 30 Oct". I think I'll give it another couple of hours and then give Amazon a ring.

I had an entirely unproductive conversation with a gentleman whose fluency in the English language was less than ideal. I then phoned back and this time spoke with a lady who actually understood what I was asking, and she subsequently said by email:

I get that people are excited and impatient, but even so, is it worth the pleasure (read: nuisance, frustration, expense of time) of a chat with CS to check? Especially since, ultimately, it "will come when it will come."

My order is also not moving, although my case has shipped (is that to torture us or what). I just rang and the CS Rep wanted to speak to Amazon Logistics (the carrier), why I have no idea as it hasn't even entered the preparing to ship stage, but unfortunately I was cut off. I await an email or a phone call back.

I briefly had "preparing to ship" early this morning (got my hopes up) but it reverted to "shipping soon" less than an hour later. My guess is that it's lost somewhere and no one has a clue! Won't be arriving tomorrow at any rate.
