The group arrives on nine streaming services tomorrow. Better late than never?

Music lovers who have abandoned their MP3 libraries for streaming apps will soon be able to listen to The Beatles' music on pretty much any service they want, according to a report from Re/code. The group's music will be available starting tomorrow—and is apparently now available in some countries where it's already December 24.

The full list of services includes Spotify, Apple Music, Slacker, Tidal, Microsoft Groove, Rhapsody, Deezer, Google Play, and Amazon Prime. That should cover just about everyone who isn't still weeping over the demise of Rdio, and Beatles tunes will reportedly be available on both the free and paid tiers of any services where that distinction exists.

Until Dec 27th, G5 Games is offering the full version of Special Enquiry Detail: Engaged to Kill, a hidden object investigative adventure, free on all its platforms. There may be geo-restrictions involved, since I could only find it free in Canada @ iTunes (iPhone & HD for iPad) & the Mac App Store.

But the publisher's Facebook post says that it should also be free at Google Play, Amazon for Kindle Fire, and Windows for Phones. NB: they usually list an unlockable Free demo alongside the full one, so you'll want the version which actually says "Full" and/or doesn't have any in-app purchases.

Like I mentioned earlier, Prime only has 10 albums in its collection. Other streaming services have 17 albums. That's a lot of missing songs. That's a shame, since Prime is the only paid music service I have; and I have no intention of subscribing to another one.

I didn't realize the other streaming services had that many more albums. Prime is the only paid music service I have, too, so I hope the others are added at some point. I'm very grateful to be able to stream the 10 albums, though, and I've been enjoying the Beatles playlists.

To get all of the songs they released while they were a band, you need the following 14 albums. The four missing LPs from Prime are highlighted in purple.

When the above albums were reissued on CDs in 1988, the American Magical Mystery Tour (1967) and the double-CD compilation set Past Masters (1988) were included so the full set would contain every track commercially released in the band's lifetime.
