I point out that I don't know, if all the models all have the same firmware,

Would it be possible to get the SD card image for the Kobo mini? I'm no longer able to connect to it via USB, and I'd like to see if reimaging helps.

If I decided to make an image, then would it work if I put the MicroSD card in an SD adapter? (If I wanted to burn an image, would having it in an adapter complicate things?) Thanks

You mean, there is another way to do it? None of my laptops have a MicroSD slot. I always use an adapter. The adapter is just that, and isn't seen by the computer.
