Fictionwise, not so much. A few here and there, but for DRM, Fictionwise is mostly eReader format. The ePub Fictionwise mostly sells is multi-format without DRM.

Can't buy from Apple and why would you?

You are talking Mobipocket without DRM. But for eBooks with DRM, Amazon is the only place you can buy for the Kindle.

Trust me, getting rid of buttons is a decision that Amazon is NOT going to rush into... especially now that they have the opportunity to gauge customer response to the competition's devices which did get rid of a lot of buttons. (And I'm only discussing ereaders to ereaders here not ereaders to tablets)

So "If" isn't the question when it comes to a Kindle Touch... "how" is. And it's a biggie: it has to attract new customers while at the same time, not piss off old customers who were looking to upgrade.
Amazon might keep page turn buttons, but I do think they'll do away with the physical keyboard in favor of a screen based keyboard.

But I think if Amazon does keep page turn buttons, there won't be two sets and they will be on the bottom like Sony has done.

I think they are working on looking good to a corporate buyer.

Will wait and see.
Actually, the new nook has a web browser built-in. It's just not mentioned and it may not be too stable. But there is one.

Yes, but to have the proclamation delivered by the American Gladiator penguin - so worth it. Not as much fun as when he and Rock get into a heated discussion with both of their penguins in Star Wars battle gear, but still...

I know some people can't stand the penguins, but they make me smile every time I see one.

I don't think is a surprise to amazon. I don't think adding a touch screen will be enough. I suspect they will make sure to one up the competition and yes I do think a touch screen is coming, but what else?
