Thanks a lot, CommanderROR, I appreciate the fact that you are always clearing questions that are popping up with Irex very much!

yeah. that's good. So we can give our feedback on this board, instead of bugging iRex directly.

But having a SpokesRex joining the discussion would be even better.

Once the iLiads arrive, we should use the questions and answers thread. And then put an FAQ on the mobilread wiki.

And your right, i cant wait to help many trees survive. Arent i a good samaritan?

And we all love you for that.
I dated a girl once who was a vegetarian.
Not because she liked animals but she really, really hated plants.

But besides that, isn't there a fund for projects that help to save trees?
Remember reading something about that somewhere.
Maybe Irex can get subsidised by the E.U.

has anyone a ballpark figure how much energy is required to produce an ebook reader?

and there's another point i've been thinking about: Mankind produces too much CO2. Aren't we doing the environment a favour if we stack away huge amounts of carbon hydrates in libraries? I think this is an alternative to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_capture_and_storage .

@dher: interesting thought. Never looked at it that way But i suspect, that mostly the burning of fossil fuel is cosing the CO2 surplus. Maybe we should cut back on that.

@high5: Aclick here every day, helps save trees: http://www.therainforestsite.com/

My sister tells that a vegetarian is a person who likes to eat the food still alive, while meat-eaters get it killed before.

Dear Sir,

After all the logistic problems, we are ready to ship in about 2-3 days. We will keep you punctually informed.

Concerning the accessories. Yes, we will have sometime soon a cover. The timeline is unknown though.
Regards,
iRex shop

So...

They announced that shipping would start on Wednesday.

We then find out that it will actually be Thursday (through CommanderRoR)

They then tell you 2-3 days.

*worries*

My status changed to "paid, not shipped". Something's moving, at least.
