Is not that one of the best things about family being together? Lots of talking, lots of cooking, lots of great meals (and snacking), and, of course, all the little appetizers set out for us to taste. Of course, there is all the new drinks to try, too. Games, movies, and new toys to play with and comment upon by everyone. I love these days, but also love the quiet again, when everyone goes home and everything goes back to normal again - then anticipation for the next big get-to-gather.

Coffee (a Raspberry Chocolate one) in my cup, as I think about doing some laundry and house cleaning, or just sit back and read.. Hummm, I wonder which one will win out?

The baby did get a few gifts. A nice little set of clothes, a stuffed moose with activities, and a baby blanket.

I guess we were all tired, we just woke up from a three hour nap. I am guzzling water right now. travel makes me thirsty and then the nap.

(YAWN)

It was nice to be in our own bed and to have to fight the puppies for blankets. I missed the puppies.

Just had some Earl Grey tea from a specialty shop and it was awesome! Hundred times better than the stuff I had been drinking.

Excellent. There is such a thing as good Earl Grey, and it sounds like you've found some.

I have finished it now, but earlier had some Australian black tea, grown in the Daintree area in northern Queensland. I know that sounds too hot for tea, but the Daintree is mostly quite a bit above sea level and has rainforest, which in places goes right down to the sea. It's a magical place, which we visited a few months ago.

Anyway, we weren't sure about the tea to start with, but are liking it better as we get used to it.

When we have finished that packet of tea, I'm going to try one of Charlie's suggestions from an online tea supplier. Cheers, Charlie!
