None of my original choices. Instead, I chose this one in black. I decided I didn't really need a liner that could be used by itself. I already have a thin fleece jacket. And I wanted more substantial armor than the others offered. This one's armor is very good, and if I really feel the need, I can swap it for the stuff I have in my current jacket.

Teknic make good stuff I hear, the shop were I bought all my gear only sold FirstGear and Alpinestars, both good brands but not the most budget, but the money is well spent, I've had my FirstGear kit since 2000 and none of it is in bad shape.

On a related topic, I saw a guy this morning wearing a liner with armor, it looked funny but I doubt that mesh would have kept the armor in the right places.

Some hotels will not allow you to bring Durian. Never tasted it myself.

When the mail workers went on strike in the 70's, like they always did along with the brewers at Christmas time, a couple of smarties decided to send a few fish through the mail, knowing of course, that it would be held up by the strike. Heh Heh!
Shame there weren't such smelly fruits available in Oz then. I think prawns would probably work OK though.

I've seen people eat durian on travel shows. Apparently if you can eat it without breathing, it is delicious.
