Just demolishing a gin and tonic as a pre-dinner drink. For medicinal purposes only of course!

I have a feeling that this use of 'run' is not actual 'running,' but rather, 'going...' As in "I have to go." Besides, running just gets you sweaty. Better to use a motorcycle. Then you have time to drink more tea!

...especially unbranded Keemun tea from the Chinese import shop!

Right so "gotta get in the car and go get her" is a valid use of "gotta run" Just another way English is so easy to understand!

About 100km/60miles from London
It was generously warm yesterday night, +5°C!
It was -1°C the day before. With a very high humidity that we have over here, just walking gives you a feeling that you are a steam train, let alone running. Well, jogging

Running....running...
Yes, I run/jog to meet my wife. In this case run was not a figure of speech.

Yesterday it was an unusually late jogging because I wanted to do it 2-3 hours after the party.

Anyway, no more running/jogging till...who knows? Maybe next year!

Pot two of Rooibos Jungle Fire.

I just got back from the Doctors office. We had the first trimester ultrasound screening. They measure the baby, check for all of the limbs, check the heart rate, look for the bladder, stomach, and the umilicial cord. Then they measure the nuchal translucancy, a fluid that is at the back of the babys neck. They can use the fluid measure, the presence of a nasal bone (it was there), and some blood tests to let you know the likelihood that your child may have a chromosonal disorder.

We heard what we wanted to hear, and saw what we wanted to see. All is normal. I like that word, normal. Great word. We have to wait for the blood work to come back but the baby had its nasal bones, most babies with down syndrome do not have a nasal bone formed at this age, and the nuchal tranlucancy fluids were normal. So yeah.

Even better, we got to watch the baby move around, play with its hands, kick its legs, and see its heart beat. It was amazing. And the baby looked human, very very human. No more blob.

We are so blessed. To have a child at 40 without any type of help and have a smooth pregnacny, so far, and see that the baby is progressing the way it is suppose to is just awe inspiring and wonderful.

(giggles)

No running here. The surgeon who replaced my knee would NOT be happy, since it would shorten the life of this artificial one by about 50%. So walking, swimming, even bicycle are OK, but no running.

Morning orange juice is done, and it looks like the Major Dickason's is down to the last swallow.

Time for tea, what will it be?

I tried it last August in Mexico.
It was...difficult to say the least. I think I would do better if I consumed a couple of shots of Tequila before attempting the feat

Don't mourn it. Accordingly to my brother (doctor/surgeon), running is an unhealthy sport. He doesn't even goes as "low" as knees. He usually stops far above. Spine. He says jogging is very damaging. It is just that I don't care anymore because I won't live long enough to experience any damage that running for 1-2-3!? year could do.
Cycling and especially swimming are far better.

-1? It is nothing for some of our club members.
I think Iridal jogs at least 3.2miles in any weather.
I am sure thinkpad jogs even if it is -12 -15°C

I jog maximum 1.4 miles snail speed.
We had to do PE exam in the last grade in school.
One of the 3 tests was running.
3.000 metres.
A - 12min or less
B - 14min or less
C - don't remember
Out of 8 guys only two failed to get A. I was one of them. I did it in 12min 30sec.

Well, not truly tea bags then
I see the logic behind pyramids being good tea. They usually cost arm and leg though

Well, I need to have few more words with my Scottish friend.

Used to really enjoy running, and it did a better job than anything else with keeping the weight off. Swimming just doesn't cut it for that.

This is going to be a Lung Ching Dragonwell day...

Officiously in holiday until the 9th of January next year. I mean in holiday from the office. Brrrr, that was a cold one.

Tomorrow we fest the nth anniversary of the major age of BigGirl
She has a gang of weirdos on the train that will question her about her true age. I suggested: 5 years less that want it appears. It took a while for her to grasp it. She looks in her thirties actually.
She asked bubbles and she will have them. After her school LittleGirl and me we will go and buy an anniversary cake. LG knows what to get: something with cream strawberries and chocolate. Gifts? I keep them for Xmas.
Stitch: you are too old for me. Sorry it came out a bit too late.
