High today was 8°, currently 6° with rain. This state is supposed to last till next Monday (2024-Jan-29) when we might see the sun again.

One of those strange weather day today, currently it's 7℃. It will get warmer; by midnight it's 13℃ and it'll stay that way overnight. Rain is forecast for the second half of the afternoon and into the evening.

Currently 33 degrees F. at 5am. It may go up to 40 today but cloudy. It was sunny most of Monday, but cold and windy in some spots on my way to and from the dentist (3rd time in 2 weeks going there). It's been so cold that I should be wearing warm boots, but only my Danskos give me the right support for my knees, so I have avoided the boots (didn't need them at all last year).

There won't be any sunshine for at least a few days. Rain starts Tuesday evening. If it does get up to 60 at the end of the week, I do not think it will last long.

Jan 24 -- 71 F -- took an after lunch walk - all of us were the same - had jackets/sweaters tied round out waist - mentally couldn't leave the house for a walk in January without a coat!

It was 40 with misty rain during the day Wednesday. 46 with rain now at 4:00 AM. It will get warmer over the next few days to 50s but with no sunshine.

Our high on Thursday was 56 degrees F. cloudy and damp. Now raining and 43 degrees at 6:45 AM Friday.

It's currently 9℃, mostly cloudy and windy. We did have some rain this morning, but it should stay dry.

Tomorrow, when we're going to a theme park it should be dry and sunny in the afternoon. It'll be a bit colder than today, especially in the morning, but at least the wind will have died down a good bit.

The high temperature for the day was 49°F. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and only an occasional light breeze. It would have been the perfect day for the end of March. We have had a lot of rain so far, but it's supposed to be sunny and mostly dry for the rest of the week with temperatures rising into the 50s by the weekend.

And then, we have another chance of snow. But that's a long way out.

The high temperature for the day was 49°F with cloudy skies. We're supposed to get rain tonight, changing over to very heavy snow by the early morning. The forecasts for our area are all over the place, from a low of 4 inches to a high of 10 inches or more. All of the forecasts agree, however, that once it starts snowing we could get an inch of snow or more per hour.

The good news, however, is that once the streets are plowed and my driveway is shoveled, everything should stay clear. We're due for several days of strong sunshine and temperatures in the 40s for the rest of the week.
