Been there, done that - put a thick fluffy towel in the carrier - cats are tough.

Also 18 F here - coldest night of the year methinks - winter is upon us.

The high temperature for the day was 36°F. There was a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon that made for a nice sunset. Almost an exact copy of yesterday except that yesterday was very windy and today we had only an occasional breeze. It should get a little warmer tomorrow, and then rain is forecast for Friday. Right now, at least, it doesn't look like that rain will be freezing.

It's 8 am and it's 0.2℃, there's a weather warning because it might be slippery outside. The prediction is that it'll be a cold (1℃ max), but dry and sunny day.

In an hour I have to cycle to my sister (20 minute trip) for another house viewing. I hope it isn't slippery, part of the route is on shared roads (bikes, mopeds, cars), but most of it is on separate cycle lanes (raised curb between road and cycle path) so I'll have to wait and see if that is gritted. But at least it hasn't snowed (snow plows usually push the snow onto cycle paths).

Right now at 2:35 AM it is 31 degrees F. Our weather has been similar to cromag's. Sunny on Wednesday and very cold.

It's still cold, -0.3℃ at the moment. It should warm up to 3℃ in the afternoon. But from mid afternoon we're going to first get rain/sleet followed by snow. In most places 1 to 3 centimeters, but in some places up to 5 centimeters.

The high temperature for the day was 51°F with heavy clouds and light to moderate rain all day long. Not a good day to spend much time outdoors -- but, at least the rain isn't freezing. This is the right time of the year for sleet and ice.

Cold and foggy. It's around freezing at the moment (7.45 am) and it won't get much warmer. The sun should come out again today, so at least it won't be a grey day. There's a yellow weather warning for slick roads.

From tomorrow it'll warm up again, over the weekend and early next week it'll be up to 12℃, but rainy.

It's 36°F outside, and that's about as warm as it will get. There's a dense, dark layer of clouds. We had snow showers earlier -- now it's just a cold drizzle. A pretty typical early winter day.

Another grey day. It has rained throughout the night, but it's dry now. But more rain is expected from last afternoon. It's also windy. At 12℃ it's warmer than normal.

Tomorrow will be similar; grey, some rain and warm.
