Today was an incredible fall day. I thought the grey skies really made the leaf color pop, especially around Durham.

Warmer than usual Thursday with a high of 64. I think it will be about the same on Friday.

Down to 1° from a high of 11° though it was a nice sunny day with no rain (that should last until late on Saturday).

It raining, still. October was the wettest October on record and it looks like November will be the same. Although it looks like we might have a couple of dry/drier days next week.

It isn't too cold between 8 and 12℃ at the moment.

But it's so grey, it's really getting depressing.

We finally had a classic early winter day. The high temperature was 53°, sunny without a cloud in the sky, and breezy. Almost all of the leaves have fallen, so there's nothing to slow the breeze down and the yard is very bright, but the sun sets way too soon.

Currently 10° with a gloomy sky. No precipitation for a couple of days is about the only bright spot.

37 degrees F. now at 1:30 AM. It got up to the low 50s on Sunday with sunshine. I didn't go out until after dark though. Sunset was at 4:35. Monday's high will be about 44. We expect rain for Tuesday. It's been so nice for a few weeks, so I guess we are due for rain.

After a week of drier weather today it will rain all day. It started raining around midnight and it'll last until midnight today.

It's getting colder, too. At 4℃ it's cooler than average.

5° and cloudy but no precipitation predicted before Friday. On the gloomier side, the clouds are keeping the overnight temperatures up.

It was a reasonably nice early winter day, today. Our high temperature for the day was 49°F. It was mostly cloudy with breaks of sun and sky, and very breezy bordering on windy. The "feels like" temperature was about ten degrees lower than the real temperature most of the day.

The rest of the week should be a bit sunnier, but also colder and windier, until the next batch of rain arrives on Friday.

It's 0.7℃ at the moment (7.15am) and it won't get much warmer today, 3℃ at most, but at least it will be dry and there's a chance the sun will come out.

Tomorrow it will be warmer, but rainy again

Well, its 18F/-8C outside and I have to take the smaller of my two cats out to the vet this morning to get her teeth cleaned. The appointment has been scheduled for 2 months, but I am not looking forward to taking a tiny 8.5lb cat outside, even if just to dash to and from the car.
