Yep. We hit 80°F over the weekend, but today's high was 48° and very breezy. At least it was dry. Unfortunately, the rain and wind we've had for the past couple of days have brought down a lot of our leaves before they really reached peak color, but it was still very nice out.

After the summer that wasn't, we had the foliage that wasn't. The leaves mostly turned brown and crisped on the trees. Even the sodden summer wasn't enough to overcome the effects of the drought.

After storm Ciarán yesterday it's still windy and rainy. The rain should stop in a little while, though there's a chance of showers throughout the day. Hopefully it'll be dry when I need to run my errands. At around 11℃ it's cooler than most recently.

We'll be keeping the rainy weather for a while yet, and next week there's a chance for more stormy weather.

Currently 46 degrees F. at 1:30 AM. Expecting a high of 54 today. We had a high of 55 on Thursday. We've had quite a few days without rain. I've been getting out to parks to shoot photos of fall colors since October 27th (that day was warm and I was in Central Park). Wednesday I walked along the Hudson River from the Village to Tribeca. Got there about 20 minutes before sunset.

Wednesday we were in the 40s F. (high got to about 50 though), and it was the first day this season that there was heat in my apartment most of the day. Always goes off before 10pm because they are not required to provide heat 10--6a unless it is 32 or below outside. We have not hit freezing yet here.
