Orangeade with zero added sugar.
Having finally got agreement on a shower enclosure and tray, now onto shower controls, shower heads, WCs, basins, bath, replacement window styles, loft ladder, carpets, vinyl flooring, curtains, blinds, paint colours.... Helping someone with renovating their new house is exhausting, even when there are builders doing the actual work! |

OJ.
Not freshly squeezed one. From a bottle. So full of sugar and other rubbish such as preservatives etc.

Ahhh, I am so happy about the Cuba trip. I have been drinking oolong with my lunch. In fact when I am at home, like to day, and I have time to make tea, it is so much better than anything else. Lunch? half a small green cabbage steamed in quarters with a curry-coconut sauce that was lying there in the fridge, quite good and it keeps well. I might manufacture again a batch of it. Half a tin of wild Pacific salmon that is also quite good and in offer at the supermarket, I might buy few tins to day. Why half? Because there are 2 portions in it. Elementary. And what did I do with the other half? I put it in an airtight container and in the fridge. Lunched while reading my new passion, that is Possession by dame A.S. Byatt. Absolutely wonderful. I go back to the book then. |

OJ and cereal.
So I gave away my teas last night. I have a really good friend who I got into tea and they went home with her. I figure that they will be ok after sitting in tins for 9 months but that I would be better off buying fresh teas and really enjoying the flavor when the day came. My Husband was a bit taken aback by the fact that the tea overflowed the reusable grocery bag that I gave her and that there are still 10 tins or so at the house. She went home for 40 or so teas. I know that she will enjoy them and it is better for them to be enjoyed while still at peak yumminess then sit and become less yummy waiting for me. And it removes the temptation. Hubby is realizing that there is going to be a huge tea buy in July. Massive tea buy. And I doubt that there are going to be too many rooiboses at that time. |

Great. This is my first time. I am fascinated. She controls settings, characters, dialogs, moods, facts, language masterly (although, English not being my native one, there might be more fine points than I can appreciate). I trust her disenchantment and sense of humor: it is easy to follow her around. It is long time that I did not read anything so well constructed around what, I am pretty sure, will be nothing, which is even better.

He is now as normal as he'll be. He's gained weight and is healthy, and he eats all his meals sitting in his little chair and then waits patiently until he can get down. He's really good about it. In my mug: Peet's Major Dickason's. |

That is great. I am happy to hear that he is doing well. Cooper has digestive issues but we have come to figure out that it is because he enjoys chewing towels, dog beds, and stuffed animals so that the various pieces take longer to pass and take up space in his stomach so he vomits. (sigh)
We love him to death but he is a silly dog. And we have figured out what we can and cannot leave in his room when we are at work (towels, cloth dog beds, and stuffed animals). Rooibos Lemon in my cup. |
