See following quote, add a permanent cold rain and take out the pellet stove. It's my first "week-end" in 3 weeks. Sighs. You know that's called faith, right?

We still run the pellet stove during the evenings, otherwise it would be unbearable.

Ah right cool - or rather warm and toasty. I am sure they make for a lovely heat source that could be shared with near by people (sorry couldn't resist)

It was chilly last night and the pool temp has fallen back into the 60's. I was actually in it at 72 this past weekend, but the doctors say they can probably save my toes.

A taco should warm you up, u kewt, widdle duppy-pog.

We're getting scattered rain, temp's in the low 20C's(68F's?) during the day, though it sometimes struggles to get there. Surf is about 21C (70F), and shouldn't go much lower. If the rain backs off, we'll be in a pretty average winter - - beach weather and water temp fit for some tourists perhaps, but not for me. Uninspiring weather - clear skies, even temperature, with a chance of having to wear underpants to keep the googlies warm. Farkin' winter.

Cheers,
Marc

What is as hot as AZ in the summer?? Actually, we've barely gone over 100F...long, long Spring so maybe we are in for record heat later?

One of my most potent memories of summer in NI, England & Scotland was of all he blue/whites sunning themselves on the beach as soon as it was a "sunny" day and the temps crept into the 20'sC...then seeing all of the bright pink/red varietals walking through the shopping centers the next day.

Thanks, but with my standard diet of curried beans washed down with ginger beer and a Zany Carter Deluxe, and a build-up of static between my backside and my chair, I actually regularly make these myself.

Cheers,

It's 100F?! Already?! Okay, that is too hot even for me and I grew up in northern Illinois.

Yep, not much has changed here in Scotland, despite all the 'stay safe in the sun' campaigns the past few years.
