Gray day, and in a holding pattern at work. Trying to decide what to read next. I have lots in my ToBeRead collection, but nothing is grabbing me. Just finished a Georgette Heyer. There aren't any of them I haven't read, 30 years ago. But I'm enjoying them as a break from my usual.

More Oolong today. Ti Kwan Yin, one of my favourites.

Good morning, all! Gonna be a rough day today... a new 'Costco' store opens today in the neighborhood which means the already crowded traffic patterns are going to be a heck of a lot worse as everybody and his brother try to get in for the opening day sales... Not gonna be fun driving in the 'hood' today!

Big mug of unbranded Keemun tea with my breakfast today. Brewed double strength for the extra caffeine. I'm going to need it!

That really is such a nice Oolong! But to me, anything with Kwan Yin is OK. I carry a small 'religious card' in my wallet to Kwan Yin (or actually Kannon, as she is called in Japan) and often visit her temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama district. There is something so calming just looking at her statue.

Finishing off steamed egg nog with cocoa and cinnamon and thinking about making another...

In other news I posted my first book trailer, wonder how people will like it. It was a ton of fun to make either way.

As the Goddess of Mercy, I figure I need to keep her as happy as I can! I need her help all too often! Here's a photo that I shot at the main temple to Kwan Yin in Hong Kong. The folks there take her very seriously!

Cooking an egg casserole for the company Christmas breakfast. Trying to decide when to put it in, takes about an hour and want to take it out as late as possible... but not so late that I can not get a parking space.
