A good parking spot at work. I didn't end up having to trek 1/4 mile to get to work. That is a good thing.

Morning fresh squeezed OJ. I tried mixing in some Mandarins this morning to the rather bland and tasteless navels I got this time, since Mandarins are in season and widely available here at reasonable prices. Worked well to improve the resulting juice.

Now, my mug of Peet's Major Dickason's.

I found my scarves, it was like a Xmas present for me

It is a bank holiday here in Spain, so we went to the park today with 3 other moms and their kids. We were in T-shirts since it has stayed very mild here since mid november (very sunny, daily average temp between 17 and 22 degrees, but 25 around midday in the sun), the kids had a great time and I could chat with my friends.

We are gearing up now to go to the Xmas Tree lighting which takes place the first Thursday after Saint Niklas, and my daughter is in charge of the switching, so she is overhype. As soon as those lights are on, we'll skip the merry drinking and walk back home, there is school tomorrow!

I think we used all our Parking Karma for the year (yes it means good parking spaces). Chris was able to park directly in front of the aisle I needed (and I mean the closest space, too!), last weekend when we went to the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall. Mind you, this was on a Saturday. In December. This place is a madhouse on weekends that don't belong to the Christmas shopping season, so imagine what its like when it IS. Then multiply that by 30. I was highly impressed.

Beltasar, Gaspar, and Melquior. They bring gold, frankincense and myrrh. Each day they will get closer. That's part of the game. Before going to bed we inch them a bit. Little girl would really like to play with them. But that's a big no for the moment. She will move the magi though.
