80's F and muggy - humidity levels hitting 70%

got caught in a sun shower during my after dinner walk - very refreshing - very softly falling rain ...

It should be a bit cooler today than the last couple of days, 27-29℃. Still too warm for me, but better than 30℃+. It's still a dry heat, so that also helps.

I managed to cool my bedroom down to 22℃ over night, which surprised me because it was so warm. Yesterday the new owner of our house sent over men to measure all the rooms, to make accurate drawings. After measuring my bedroom they forgot to close the curtains again and with the sun shining directly on my bedroom from 10 am until about 4 pm it resulted in the temperature going up to 29℃. I was not happy.

The last couple of days were slightly cooler, but this weekend temperatures are up again 28℃ today and possibly 30℃ tomorrow. However, from Monday early morning we're going to get rain (after five weeks of no rain). We've been having a very dry heat the last two weeks, I was able to deal with the heat better than normal because of that.

However, I expect the humidity will slowly increase tomorrow and even if the temperatures are going to drop to around 25℃ from Monday I expect it will feel a lot warmer because of it.

I'm getting up earlier than normal tomorrow, to get all my chores done as early as possible and also go to the supermarket (which I normally do on Monday).

Originally the weather for today was a very sunny start, highs of 29/30℃, with more clouds in the afternoon and slight chance of rain tonight.

Within a couple of hours that has changed, it's already very cloudy, highs of 26℃ and possibly some rain this afternoon.

At 8.15 am it's already 22℃, but it's still cloudy. Later this morning the sun should come out and temperatures will rise to 29/30℃ and it'll be unpleasantly humid. From mid-afternoon there's a nation wide weather alert for thunderstorms, gusts of winds, hail and a lot of rain in a short period of time. The different weather services predict different times when the rain starts for my area; one at 3 pm, another at 6 pm and the third around 9 pm.

Monday late afternoon was warmer, sunny and rather humid. 78 degrees. Down to 70 when at 9:45 when I came out of the health club. 64 now at 4 AM.
