This could be true...With my son, I did not eat that much veggies, I had carbs cravings. He hates veggies, apart from salad and maybe peas (but they are packed with carbs too). With my daughter I craved veggies, and it was a high risk pregnancy, so I was super duper careful, and she loves any veggie, always willing to try new ones (at 7, believe me, that is seldom). It's a joy to see the balance of her plate.

Now to try and get a solid 8 hours of sleep.

I craved salad and veggies with one kid and Tex-Mex with the other. They both eat veggies now.

Had both "natural" (meaning no epidural, no C-section). Had Demerol during the second labor. I do NOT recommend it! What it does (or at least what it did to me) is put you to sleep between contractions. So you zonk out between pains, which sounds like it'd be good, but what actually happens is your brain "loses" the time between pains (since you're unconscious) so you are then convinced it's all ONE BIG PAIN.

Pomegranate tea in my cup. Almost gone, actually...

Based on my wife (eats veggies all the time) and son (veggies are not food, they are what food eats) I dunno how much I believe that, BUT worth a shot I guess!

Humans are meant to be omnivorous. A well-balanced diet with plenty of fresh veggies, lean meats, poultry, and fish, and fresh fruit, is going to make a healthy Mom, which certainly helps make a healthy baby. Playing Classical music with the speakers on your stomach will NOT insure that your baby will prefer Classical to Heavy Metal when it grows up. Eating carrots will give you both plenty of Vitamin A, but my result in your child wanting a pet rabbit... or gorilla. They all like carrots. Or maybe a horse... Have you room for a large stall? You may wish to snack on cucumber or peanuts instead. It's a lot easier to keep hamsters. On the other hand, I did play a lot of guitar to my pregnant wife, and my son turned into a very good guitar player... Who knew...

I'm going to find a glass and fill it with Bombay Sapphire!

Baby will have to deal with having only two medium size dogs. One likes playing tug and the other fetch. Both love carrots. I am varying the music and reading out loud a bit more frequently. All silly but what the hey it makes me feel better.

Finished the OJ and skim milk, off to take a shower and go to work. It is rainy and yucky and we have to attend a four hour long problematic brief today. I am looking forward to tomorrow.
