If you use Rakuten Cash Back with Kobo, the cash back rate is showing as 20% right now, supposedly as part of "Big Give" week. But then another bit of info seems to imply that the 20% ends Monday night - e.g. tonight? It also mentions something about "VIP Access", so, as usual, things with Kobo/Rakuten are really confused. See my attached screenshot...

Still, I did start a shopping trip with Kobo, and bought a book I wanted, and it indicated that I was getting 20%. But I haven't yet seen the cashback appear in my account, so can't verify that I really got it. Still, if you've been mourning the defunct Partners22 coupon, and have a book or two you've been waiting on a coupon to buy, this might be something you want to take a look at.

But definitely YMMV...

^^Piggybacking to say that the 20% also applies to gift cards and right now there's a $10 bonus on a $60 gift card purchase. I know gc balances can't be applied anymore; however, getting a total of $70 in gc credit for an outlay of $48 is intriguing....

Assuming, of course, it all posts. According to the fine print, you'll see the credit on your Rakuten account the following day.

As of right now the bonus has dropped to 15%, but that's still pretty good. I did buy a gift card one time a while back when the bonus was higher than normal, and did get the Rakuten cash back. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean it will happen again, but at least there's one positive precedent

This works in the UK store, too, but not on all my titles.
