I hate to say it, but despite the wet spring we need the rain after this dry spell. We had at least two brush fires in my town just today.

The clouds burned off so it's now sunny or is that sunsetty? Going to hit freezing overnight. As usual Saturday and Sunday have rain in the prediction.

What do you call a sunny day after two days of heavy rain?

I've been seeing "red flag warning" on my weather apps for 3 days. It's about the wind and very low humidity. I had to click on it a number of times to see what it meant.

We had a very strong line of storms this morning. It was so dark around my office that all of our light-sensing floodlights kicked on. There was no wind, but there was torrential rain and some hail. This must have been a small front as the temp dropped about 5 degrees in an hour ahead of the storm actually hitting.

We did not get the rain until after 7pm. T-storms were predicted but we didn't have that. I went out about 8 and the rain wasn't substantial. I didn't use an umbrella, because I had a rolling bag for food shopping and I use a cane in the other hand.

It isn't as sunny as they predicted a couple of days ago, but the sun should come out this afternoon. There's a small chance of some drizzle. It'll be 14C later this afternoon. Tomorrow will be fairly similar, with a more sunny morning, which is nice since I'm going to take a hike in the woods.
