Our colors were a plum purple and a sage green.

Ah the wedding diet. I lost 25 pounds over the course of 18 months. And I am likely to put all of that back on in the next 8 months. (sigh)

Make sure that it is fun for you. Find some classes at the gym that you like and allow yourself a "cheat day".

I have been away for an extra long week end. A part from that, it is wake up early, take the girl to school, take the train, run all day, take the train back, get the girl from her school, prepare dinner, fix the kitchen, a bit of this and that and it is already time to close it up. Like everybody.

I have been enjoying the good news: Iridal and Prof but also I had to grief for Astra's mom and Geoff's kid. Yeah, that's life, but it hurts any way. One would like it that it could always be lounging leisurely and easy ...

'big sigh...' Another really weird night of strange, strange dreams. I wonder why? Nothing particularly strange in my life right now, nor of anyone close to me...

Oh well... Good morning, everyone. Middle of the week and a mid-week tea to go with it; a Ceylon Dimbula. Neither wonderful nor terrible... just sort of middle of the road. Like a 'Wednesday.' I made some guacamole last night to use for tonight's Mexican dinner, but stole a bit of it to put on my rice this morning. Not bad at all, but it will taste better with enchilladas, toastadas, and chili relleno tonight.

Hey, that's only fair. I've been sewing for the past three evenings, customizing my winter motorcycle gear. I sewed an extra layer of thin polar-fleece onto the back of my glove liners, shortened the arms on my jacket liner by 3 inches and sewed on a edging of polar-fleece, and now I'm sewing a 3 inch extension to the storm collar of my new jacket. My body is not an 'off the rack' size...

(My neck is too large and my arms are too short. I have to have my dress shirts custom made for me or they just don't fit right. My chest and shoulders need a size L, my arms need a size M, but my neck needs a 2XL!)

If I can do all this sewing by hand (I don't have a sewing machine) Superman certainly can! It ain't rocket science. I just keep a lot of band-aids handy.
