24F and grey day. All my arthritic joints started to hurt late this afternoon apparently in anticipation of the winter storm coming.

It’s wet, windy and warm. It’s 12°C, I’ve had multiple notifications that it should get dry in half an hour, but so far it’s still raining. I’m not expecting it to be a busy day in the store today.

Someone just walked by our store with a dog, the dog sat down in our entryway, where it’s dry, and didn’t want to go out in the rain.

We finally had a reasonably typical day for the season -- not the arctic cold of two weeks ago or the spring-like warmth of last week. Our high temperature for the day was 46°F with cloudy skies and a moderate, but fairly constant, breeze. According to the forecast, this pattern should continue for at least a week with maybe a bit more sunshine in the coming days.

Apparently in the first nine days of January the same amount of rain has fallen as the average full month of January. And in the next ten day it's expected that another 70mm of rain will fall.

Today it'll be dry until mid afternoon, it'll be 6-7C, which is normal for this time of year. Although we had some sunny spells over the last couple of weeks, I really need longer sunny weather. At this point I'd rather have cold but sunny weather than this warm and rainy weather we've been having this past month.

It's raining. Already over 10mm of rain has fallen today (8.15am). One weather app keeps sending notifications that it'll get dry within the next 10 minutes, but I don't see that happening any time soon. It's 10C, so warm for the time of year.

We should get a dry spell later today, late morning to early afternoon, before it starts raining again.

I'm really over this rainy weather.

We had over 22mm of rain yesterday, but today it should be better. There's still a chance of the occasional rain shower, but it'll be mostly dry with intermittent clouds and sun. It's still windy, though. I hope it'll get less windy this afternoon, since I have to cycle to my sister.
