The only psychological part is when everyone laughs at you because you arrived for work an hour early or they are mad at you because you are an hour late.

The whole idea is to utilize as much of the daylight in area where the leingth of the day changes radically from summer to winter.

Since then, the world has seen many enactments, adjustments, and repeals.[25]"

Ok so that explains the when and who, the how is to come (Stolen from the same Wiki):

"In a typical case where a one-hour shift occurs at 02:00 local time, in spring the clock jumps forward from 01:59 standard time to 03:00 DST and that day has 23 hours, whereas in autumn the clock jumps backward from 01:59 DST to 01:00 standard time, repeating that hour, and that day has 25 hours. A digital display of local time does not read 02:00 exactly at the shift, but instead jumps from 01:59:59.9 either forward to 03:00:00.0 or backward to 01:00:00.0. In this example, a location observing UTC+10 during standard time is at UTC+11 during DST; conversely, a location at UTC−10 during standard time is at UTC−9 during DST."

Not much of a problem there. First, if there is anyone in the office ahead of you, THEY can be laughed at. And YOU can just say that you only came in early to laugh at them. Problem solved.

but why say it's a 25 hour day? isn't it just the same thing, except you just adjusted your clocks one hour ahead?

Most people set their clocks a few minutes ahead so that they think they are late and will move faster and get places on time. A good friend of mine had the best idea ever, he set all of his clocks backwards five minutes so he was never stressed about being late for something!

Your friend was a genius! Here I set my clocks 15 minutes late so I am surprised when people are only 15 minutes late, the rule of thumb here seems to be "If I get to the meeting, I am on time. We call it Malaysian time, when I set up meetings, I always tell people to be there on time, if they are late I fine them RM1/minute (.30 USD) and I tell them that the meeting is 15 minutes before I plan on arriving. I used to have a "Tip" jar that actually paid for all my drinks at the end of the year. I have had meetings where if we were in Canada I would have just fired the people that were always late, I wasn't allowed to do that so I quit

Now my company only has one employee and I'd love to fire him almost every day, he is so lazy, but I can't fire myself.

People here have no respect for your time, but if you make them wait they get very pissed off. My personal rule is that if I am going to be late, I will arrange to reschedule the meeting. I have only had to reschedule 1 meeting and that was becaus the roads were flooded with 3 feet of water and I didn't have a boat.

The 25 hour day happens in the Autumn. Today (Sunday 27th March) is a 23 hour day, as the hour from 2am to 3am didn't happen. It was 01:59:59 and two seconds later it was 3:00:01.

In short, I lost an hour of sleep!

Yep, my boss is a real pain in the ass, he expects everything done when he arrives and always has thins for me to do after he leaves the office.

Yes, i hated it too. Last night I was happely reading along and surfing the net on my iPad and then

it was 2.20 in stead of 1.20

I just hate it; good for nothing.
