well, i don't think that's fair. they should have started the project once you all were together, instead of chatting :| or at least hashed out who would do what part, so that you could leave early.

There are always students that want to do as little as possible and leech on other persons work. Don't you have a mentor you can go to?

well, i think he'd just tell us to "work it out", and he's right. we're all adults here; now if some of them could just act like one, then there would be no problem @_@ as it is, only 4 members have joined the yahoo group i set up for coordinating. we're 11 in all.

Yes, well, that's it. In the 'real' world there'll also be people who don't pull their weight.
The last project my daughter worked on though, she wasn't the projectleader () and one boy got kicked out of college (but he had not done some other things as well). But still; it's difficult to do something about it.

Group projects can make or break a class, something thats the intention. Lets face it University if there to prepare you for the working world, yeah like my Arts Degree is worth anything!

thanks! it's just got me so worked up because i just want it to be OVER. i want to go on my summer vacation (which is coming up in 2-3 weeks, depending on how many finals i have to take) and get my kindle from my uncle and just read @_@

i called one of my group mates; he said he accepted the invite, but he wasn't showing up in the members list (which is just weird), so i just told him to manually join.

Don't think too much; just kick their a....s around till there're on the group you've set up. Threaten them with a contagious disease, if need be.

i think i already let a little of my queen b***h show. i told them it was 25% of the final grade (which is true, and a mighty big chunk, too). the passing grade is 70% so if we don't do this, the highest we'd get is a 1.0 (which is the lowest grade in our system)

Probably how well you work as a group and as individuals is what will really determine your score, not the project itself so much. You are expected to do some independent learning, and as long as you show that, you will do fine. Those who do not care will not doom the rest of the group. Those of you who care will walk away with a passing score, so don't sweat it. Then make 100% on the rest of the exams and skip away with an easy B.

I can barely find my way around in iTunes. Every other time that I sych my iPad, I somehow wipe out my photos.

Thank heaven; I got a time-machine on my mac, so I can retrieve my itunes-folder from two days back. But it makes me outrageously mad, every time it happens. Before I had the mac+ the backup timemachine, I had to buy some program to transfer all my music from ipod to PC ( after an update which deleted all my music from my pc ).

As it is now 0.30 middle of the night and we finished a bottle of champagne between us, I'll try to set it back tomorrow.

yeah, but everyone would still get the same grade, regardless. i'm tempted to kick them off.
