Could it be an attempt to deflect from the actual topic of discussion? Could the topic have been that someone must be psychic in order to discuss a topic that they have not read? Would the next step be to post something that will derail the conversation into a completely unrelated direction?

Why would you chew the same piece of bubblegum in the morning?

Is the singer so poverty stricken that they can't afford more bubblegum?

If the singer is that poor how can they afford a bedpost, let alone a bed?

Could this be a case of overthinking things too much?

Does anyone know why the Brits are so gung ho about not using trademarks in song titles and lyrics?
