36 degrees, cloudy at 5:30 PM (Saturday). It was below freezing during the night.

It's cold, officially -6°C, but in the city center it's -3°C. It's going to be sunny, but the temperatures won't rise over 0°C mid afternoon. I'm not expecting it to be very busy in the store this morning.

I drove through Chapel Hill this afternoon in zero visibility conditions - solid rain coming down. White knuckle driving. Fortunately the other drivers all slowed down too.

All the students are home for break and most of the crazy, rich, old folks who can't drive stay in during bad weather.

Cold, although the last 24 hours were relatively mild; around freezing. Today it'll be 1C, some sun, some clouds. But we're in for two cold nights, -5 or -6C, before it starts warming up again from Sunday night/Monday morning.

I'm over the cold. I took my thermometer with me to the store yesterday. And whilst where the thermostat is installed it's was between 17C and 18.5C (between 10am and 2pm). The thermometer I had where I sit and work read 14C to 14.5C. So I wasn't imagining it was cold.

Snow ended a little over an hour ago. Supposed to start again about 5 and I hope to be home by 4. Lots of accidents during rush hour but should be plowed and salted by the time I need to go out. Snow plow just went by moments ago, so I should be able to get off my street today! Couple people got stuck this morning. Only 6 inches of snow but ice underneath.

It rained a lot Thursday and Friday. We expect sunshine on Saturday. 38 degrees at 12:30 AM.

Minus four degrees,everything completely iced over. Looks great,like a Christmas card but boy oh boy it's cold!
