Everybody has seen those insect zappers with the "blue" light? They'll attract bugs from all over and ZAPPPPP them.

Oh sure one or two mosquitoes may bite you on it's way to the zapper, but hay, THEY'RE GONNA DIE!

That's has to be some satisfaction right?

Not really. If you give one to a neighbor a couple of houses away from you, they'll leave your yard and head straight towards them.

it's very satisfying hunting down those little pests. my chinese tutor in high school had a sort of electrical thingy mounted on the wall, and the flies willingly flew to their deaths

i really hate it when my dad uses those mosquito sprays. i swear they NEVER work, plus they stink, and it seems that my dad is trigger-happy :P i bet those flies are just swimming in the scent.

You're right! NOTHING is as effective at killing as brake cleaner/carb cleaner (as long as you don't buy it in Japan.) As you said, it knocks them right out of the sky! It will even kill cockroaches instantly! Just do NOT breath the fumes... It melts brain tissue just as quickly!

I worked in a bar that kept on under the sink to attract fruit flies. I bought one for those times when flies get in the house and I can't catch them. When I go to sleep at night, I plug it in and whatever is flying around flies right into it. The next morning, I vacuum them up. Unfortunately, I need a new bulb in mine, which is why I didn't put it out last night!

The satisfaction of killing a 3" roach is worth me having to air out the room that I sprayed it. I have sprayed it, repetitively, without ventilating the room. I was higher than a kite! I won't do that again! It's like sniffing glue! I believe my brother said it was a type of ether. You know, the stuff they cover faces w/ in movies to make them pass out! Another use is for ticks. A drop on a tick puts it to "sleep" so you can pull it out.

Those things make me high as a kite too. I started drinking one every day at work, and finally figured out why, at that time of day, I started getting dizzy and seeing double.

when one of my parents' friends died, the doctor saw in the x-ray that the bones had partially deteriorated (or something like that). apparently, the guy regularly drank energy drinks, and the doc said it wasn't good for anyone :P

The ingredients in brake cleaner are highly toxic. You do not want to spray the stuff unless you are in a well ventilated area, and you don't want to get it on your skin.
