Made a quick comparison between Kindle Store and Kindle Comic Converter (Humble Bundle PDF source) versions of Blue Lock Vol. 1.

The huge margins and incorrect black levels in the Kindle Store are notable.

Also included a comparison between 1.0(disabled) and auto(1.8) gamma correction in 2nd half.

It started as a test project I needed after converting countless comic pdf files to ePub, struggling with moiré after conversion, ePub validity etc.. After messing around a bit, it felt like maybe others are running into the same issue, so I put it online.

It’s free to try and for the basic stuff only needs eMail to start an account. Still working on improving it, so if you give it a go and run into anything weird (or have ideas), I’d be glad to hear.
