Mighty Leaf and Harney and Sons do a good bagged tea. I would look for any bagged tea that essentially is loose leaf tea in a bag. There are some really good ones out there. Tea Gschwendner has some on its website but I have not tried them. Harney and Sons loose leaf is in the sachets.

If you're going to order online, then you may as well order premium teas, bagged though they be, at peets.com. Perhaps the sampler package is a good way to go.

Ok, I was like 8 pages behind in this thread - a quick skim shows me congratulations and condolences are in order for ProfCrash (condolences for no tea for 8 months). Same for Iri - (but whoever said sample LOTS was right on!).

How is your Xmas going to be ?

The first weekend in December, every year, we have a tree trimming party at my house. We honor the memory of my grandmother by playing her favorite, Frank Sinatra - The Sinatra Christmas Album (in vinyl and CD) while decorating the house, putting up the tree, and finishing with the ornaments on the tree before sitting down to dinner.

We open presents on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day morning. Christmas Eve is the big dinner with enchiladas and presents and Christmas morning is family breakfast and Christmas stockings.

Lately, we have been cooking turkey in a big outdoor fryer with my brother injecting the turkey with special sauces. He sets up large ladders and hangs the turkey, then two people lower it into the fryer. I don't really like the turkey as a meal, but it is fun to participate in the set up and cooking.
