If you didn't check the calendar you'd believe it was a beautiful October day. The high temperature was 58°F with slate gray cloudy skies and damp winds. Still, not a bad day to be out if you were doing something, but not a day to sit on the deck.

Thursday it got up to 65 degrees F. here. Rain at night with very heavy rain and wind around 3AM.

Saturday it was around 55 during the day. 50 when I went out to go to the pool. Terribly windy and chilly on 10th Avenue. I walked 13 blocks down there and hated it. I got a bus back to go home. This time of the year the weather changes so much from day to day or even during the day.

You could try living near Calgary, Alberta. At one time, the temperature went from -19°C to a very comfortable +22°C in the space of an hour (look up Chinook or snow eater).

For the first time in weeks it's raining, or rather, drizzling. After today it'll be dry again for at least a week. And of course today is the day I have to run a bunch of errands on my bike and go visit my father at the rehab center this afternoon.

It's also chilly at 11C, but that should also improve later in the week.

It has been in the low 50s during the day and windy. Cold for me. In the 40s overnight. We got heat this morning, but it was off after the temp hit 50 and above. Never got above 53. Sunny though!

It's a little bit colder than normal for this time of year, 12-13C. Today there's a possibility of some rain showers.

It was almost 10 degrees warmer today but still windy. I still had to wear my parka (opened) for my walk to the pool at 7pm while the sun was still out. So windy. It was 61 then. Usually when it's in the 60s I can just wear long sleeves and a down vest, or a hoodie.

Smoke. Large grass fire a few miles from me. Otherwise, it was a lovely day in low 70s.
