It seems that iRex is leaving the communication with the mobileread forums to me. They tell me, I tell the forums...but I have to ask for every piece of information too...
If your status is "Shipping Started", you'll be in the first batch which is supposed to leave Dueren on Thursday.
I hope this was the last delay...

and if your status is "confirmed, processing"? Does this mean we have to wait for the next shipment from the other end of the world or will there be a second batch from this container?

I don't know about the size of the shipment. I hope there will be more batches from that shipment but I simply don't know.

I got a tracking number, too. Status on the UPS site says invoice data received. There is a disclaimer that the pickup possibly hasn't taken place yet and that I should inquire the sender for more information. I guess the decision to go on vacation next week was a bad one :-(

Ok that means package hasn't been picked up yet.

Good news: Irex forward the tracking numbers in time it seems
Bad news: No one else then Irex has seen their devices yet. Lets hope UPS can confirm soon they picked up _something_

OK...I sent a query about the "shipping status (iRex)" and "shipping status (UPS)" thingy and received a reply that told me what was done. It took two emails to find out, but it was worth the effort.
