Hi all, No news on a publishing deal for The Palmyra Impact and The Adamas Blueprint yet, but I hope to know more in the next few weeks. I just wanted to post a link to a web video interview I did with bibliotechshow a few weeks ago. In the interview, I give some well deserved credit to my Mobileread supporters. http://bibliotechshow.com/2009/08/19...boyd-morrison/ |

A very nice interview, Boyd. Good luck on getting a film deal. I personally think that The Ark would make a great movie. |

And I want a part in the movie! I'll bring that up if I'm ever on the Today Show. I'm proud to announce that The Ark has received three blurbs from NY Times bestselling authors to add to the ones from James Rollins, Jon Land, and Chris Kuzneski. Here they are: "Douglas Preston, NY Times bestselling author of CEMETERY DANCE and THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE -- THE ARK by Boyd Morrison skillfully entwines Biblical history, archaeology and religious fanaticism with high technology to create a riveting adventure of high-stakes terror and international intrigue. Wow. This is one fine heart-stopping thriller." "Steve Berry, NY Times bestselling author of THE CHARLEMAGNE PURSUIT and THE PARIS VENDETTA -- Mach-speed mayhem. THE ARK crackles with tension and imagination from the first page to the last. Just the right blend of menace and normality. Boyd Morrison is a writer to watch." "Gayle Lynds, NY Times bestselling author of THE BOOK OF SPIES and THE LAST SPYMASTER -- Taut and endlessly exciting, The Ark by Boyd Morrison is a thrill-a-minute ride across time and continents in search of one of the world’s most fascinating mysteries – Noah’s lost Ark. Equally fascinating are the maverick engineer and female archeologist who must uncover the hidden plans of the diabolical man who has the key. From memorable characters to insider information, you’ll love this adventure of a lifetime." |

I don't get the love for the Ark. It was a fine read, but the Palmyra Impact was the one that I really enjoyed. When the ____________ disintegrated and _____________ died, it was knife through me. Why Boyd, why? |

Wow, Boyd, great new blurbs to add to the book! The 10 year plan (EDIT: oops 9 year plan?) paid off. Has life changed dramatically? Do you still have time in between travels to act? Congratulations on the great news about The Ark and for sharing your work with us. We look forward to you popping in and posting the progress on your books as it continues. My wife has just finished The Ark and rates it one of the best she has read. This from a woman that reads all the thrillers.

The Ark is now listed on amazon.co.uk! For the UK market, it is called The Noah's Ark Quest because my publisher felt that title would connect better with British readers. If you search for my name, you'll see two listings for the book, one in a trade paperback format and one in a mass-market paperback format coming out later. It will continue to be called The Ark for the US/Canada market, but the UK and US manuscripts are identical. The title has made some interesting progressions. When I first pitched the book at writers conferences, I was calling it The Noah Covenant. Ocean, I'm glad you connected with the characters so much in The Palmyra Impact. Unfortunately, many times in disasters you can't save everyone, but it was a sacrifice the character was willing to make. Pilotbob, it will be out in the US next Spring, so you don't have to wait too long. Dreams, writing-wise, life has certainly changed dramatically. I have an agents and editors meeting in New York next week to plan the book launch. Very cool to write that! I've also seen the first draft of the US cover, which looks fantastic! It's been quite busy lately now that I have deadlines (which is a decidedly good thing), so I won't be doing any acting this Fall, but I'm hoping to do some again after the book launch next Spring. Thanks, Stormchild! I'm glad she enjoyed it. |

I suppose I am going to have to go buy the books now they are in the UK. I would rather have paid you for the Ebooks. Still I know someone who will appreciate them as a pressie.
