Very true. My Voyage and Oasis are certainly not perfect, but their faults don't particularly bother me and I really love them both. They're excellent reading devices. Still, I understand how the faults that I find easy to ignore might be a dealbreaker for someone else.

I love my Voyage and thanks to its haptic controls, I still have some comfort in reading, cos the touch screen isn't as reactive as my PW, sometimes it needs 2 or 3 touches in different areas to react.
What I'd like to have is a finer gap between font's sizes, 4 fonts between 2 and 3, and 3 and 4, the steps are too large.

I love my voyage more and more, the perfect white of the screen, the aptic button, the bright sensor, and the wonderful origami cover.
I'm a kobo user, but this voyage is so perfect for me that now is always with me, at home and out

I considered doing this also but was afraid of getting one that is not as good as my current one and also that hopefully mine will last a long time and if/when it dies there may be something new that I want instead. I do hope it lasts a long time as it is truly the perfect e-reader for me.

I thought about doing that too. All day long I pulled up the Voyage page and considered it. But I never actually did it and I've wished I had ever since.

My Voyage is still like new. I have no reason to expect problems and I have all three models of the Paperwhite to fall back on if I need to. I rotate among the 4 readers all the time. But I'd miss the Voyage if it went bye-bye.

I think the Oasis looks pretty good but I'm afraid of the battery situation with it. From everything I've read it works off the tiny battery in the reader and just uses the cover's battery to charge that battery. Since a lithium ion battery is good for about 500 to 1000 full charges that tiny battery is going to use those up about 6 times faster than the battery in my Voyage. I just don't trust that.
