The Chinese invented block printing, paper and Ink, but due to how many characters they have in their alphabet printing didn't really catch on til Gutenberg in the 1450's at which time letters were molded to look like handwriting as it resembled a hand written manuscript.

It's considered very bad luck to score a hole in one in Japan. The reason is that the golfer is expected to hold a big party to celebrate the event.

Golfers, and not only in Japan, have special insurance against scoring hole-in-one. http://boingboing.net/2014/07/28/why...in-one-in.html http://lmgtfy.com/?q=insurance+again...ne+hole+in+one ;-) |

[I'm posting about sugar withdrawal until I'm no longer experiencing symptoms. *sticks out tongue*]
According to WikiHow.com, "nutritionists and scientists are discovering that when the body is accustomed to high levels of sugar consumption, it can respond to sugar deprivation with the same kinds of withdrawal symptoms experienced by a drug abuser; the symptoms of sugar withdrawal can, in fact, be very painful..." Yup! I feel like I have the flu! ![]() |

Not really toxic, I can't think of the word right now though. :< That much water makes your brain try to expand against your skull, killing you eventually. Not poisoning

Since many people enjoy responding to previous trivia posts to add even more related information, I'm adding the following rule for the thread:
- You can add to the trivia of a previous post by quoting the original and adding information as long as you also include a new piece of unrelated trivia. |
