So far I'm up to 9.7GB uploaded and I'm having zero problems with Firefox 22.0 still. It is taking maybe 4-5 seconds to access some folders though, but with the amount of files on it already and that they're all images, that's to be expected.

Right now I have 27 tabs open, but I've had at least 50 open and still no problems. I thought maybe it was because I already was in the browse option, so instead of moving off that page within the tab, I opened up yet another tab for Copy. When I tried to access deeper folders, now that did crash ... and that's not surprising at all. But having just one tab on Copy still is working fine.

I have noticed though that a few of the subdirectories don't seem to be uploading or scheduled for uploading. Two small directories don't have any of the subdirectories shown for syncing (although their main directory is uploaded); another 2 directories haven't uploaded one subdirectory each, yet the other subdirectories have. I'm going by the change in the folder icons that Copy adds in Windows Explorer, and that the directory structures seem to have been uploaded first, except for these missing oddballs. Maybe they'll straighten themselves out with time as it gets nearer to completing the total upload, but I'll watch those. Or it might take a 2nd sync, it shouldn't but I'll keep watching.

The total upload is 28.3GB of all images between 1-8MB in size and a few much larger video files; 5,870 files in 29 subdirectories with another 124 subdirectories within those.

The app on my phone is still working perfectly as well.

It can't seem to handle Calibre files then. Because it just freezes up.
I have to ask did you upload via shortcut?

I had some issues which were totally my own fault. But it seemed to sync pretty quickly for me (a few hours for just over 10GB).

I asked why my folders all showed on the Shared Folders tab and received this as a response:
Quote:
Data that is synced by either symlink or shortcuts will automatically become shares. Copy needs to mark these files as shares to upload the data that the link points to. We may change the way symlinks and shortcut are dealt with in the future. Nobody can access this data unless you send them a link to the data. If you unshare these folder, it may cause issues with sync.

and that's where it is freezing.

I've tried each Library so it's not a specific folder. It works fine in IE9 but not in the other browsers. Okay IE9 is choking now on my largest Library. 2.8GB but I can open the smaller ones. It unstuck itself finally but the other browsers just freeze.

I just don't think the website can handle large amount of storage.
Mine is 14GB, 4,358 subfolders, 27,664 files and while it is slower than other folders (like the 1GB one where I have some photos w/no subfolders) it doesn't lock-up or anything for me using Chrome (28.0.1500.72 m).

Are there any Calibre files? I am thinking perhaps that may be the issue. Maybe they didn't take into effect that mobi, epub, lit, opf...etc files would be uploaded.

They sent my ticket to the web team so I am just waiting for them to get back to me.

When I said "Mine is 14GB, 4,358 subfolders, 27,664 files" I was referring to my Calibre library. It resides in my DropBox folder and I'm using a link in the Copy folder for an extra backup.

I wonder why mine is acting up then. It has to be a file issue if yours works fine. Are you able to download via the website one of the ebooks inside the subfolders?

Just tried it with both a Mobi and an ePub. No problems, very quick downloads.

I have no clue then. I guess support is going to have to figure this one out. Maybe a corrupt file...

I'm up to 12.7GB now and everything is still working perfectly. I have over 2k books uploaded and they've always worked fine. My Calibre Library is only 7,403 files in 2,549 directories for 2.6GB. I just tested downloading a book through Firefox and that also is still working fine, and like AnemicOak, it was very fast and no problems.

Both my Calibre Library and my Images directories were both uploaded via a shortcut to each folder placed in the Copy Upload directory.

I'm starting to think that maybe Copy isn't playing nice with some add-on you're using maybe or some setting? I've got a whole slew of plugins I use and I'm really surprised I'm not having problems. I also have AdblockPlus and Ghostery installed to stop ads and tracking. Are there any ads normally on the site? Maybe those are causing issues if there are?

And those oddball directories that didn't seem to be queued to be uploading seem to be flagged now correctly to be uploaded, so that did straighten itself out as well.

I'm stumped what your problem could be. I'm running WinXP SP3 if that's any help, internet is about 10mb down and only 1mb up on a good day (although I'm not getting anywhere near that on uploads to Copy, which is ok, once the bulk is uploaded, syncing won't be bad after that).

Edit: And I've got over 70 tabs open right now, I did have more open when I downloaded the epub.

Did you try Firefox in safemode and see if that works any better to rule out plugin issues, etc?

Not a add on issue. The first thing I did was run FF in Safe Mode to make sure. I've tried on my Desktop (Vista 64 8GB of Ram, Quad core) I'm right now on my netbook which is XP SP3 (2GB RAM, 1.66ghz single core) It freezes too when I try to open a subfolder. Took it 5 minutes just to list them and each time I had to hit wait. It will open the smaller folders unlike my Desktop that just freezes but it chokes on the larger folders.

My two Calibre libraries uploaded to Copy with no issues.

Since I can now access all of my books on my phone, I installed the Aldiko Book Reader app. Though I doubt I will use it much as I like my Sony's eInk. But if I am ever stuck somewhere with just my phone I will no longer be limited to my Sony, Nook, and Amazon books.

Mantano is a great app for reading on Android.

Copy app works great for me but I use Dropbox when traveling.
